MARSHMELLO AND KANE BROWN RELEASE HIGHLY-ANTICIPATED COLLABORATION “ONE THING RIGHT” TODAY

Multi-platinum award-winning artist Kane Brown and producer superstar Marshmello officially release their new single, “One Thing Right,” today.

Written by Brown, Marshmello, Jesse Frasure, Josh Hoge and Matthew McGinn, “One Thing Right” (Joytime Collective/RCA Nashville) is Marshmello’s first collaboration with a country music artist and pairs the international producer with “genre-defying” (Billboard) entertainer entertainer Kane Brown. Having shattered records in their respective musical genres, Marshmello and Brown will bring “One Thing Right” to GMA’s Summer Concert Series on August 30.

Brown spoke about the track late last year with Billboard: “It tells you everything that I’ve done wrong growing up, and it’s saying that the one thing I did get right, was you.” Although Brown originally thought of his wife, the song’s message can reflect a myriad of relationships, such as family and friends.

The two originally connected at the 2018 American Music Awards, where Brown won three awards (Favorite Male Artist – Country, Favorite Album – Country, and Favorite Song – Country for “Heaven”) and Marshmello took home Best Electronic Dance Artist. Initially written by Brown for what would become his No. 1 debuting Billboard 200 album, Experiment, “One Thing Right” ended up being an additional track that Brownsent to Marshmello for consideration.

“Marshmello had reached out to say congratulations while I was at the AMAs,” Brown said. “I sent him the song and he ended up being really passionate about it, and said he wanted to even make it a single, so we ended up working on it together. I am a huge Marshmello fan and think he is an incredible artist in his space, so I am thrilled to be able to get to collaborate with him on this. It’s amazing seeing a song you wrote come to life like that,” added Brown.

With billions of streams and multiple gold and double platinum certifications, Marshmello continues to redefine his space in the music world. In 2019, he played “the first-ever in-game concert” inside of Fortnite, which was noted as “revolutionary for the music industry.” Marshmello currently can be found in Las Vegas for an exclusive two-year engagement at KAOS Dayclub and Nightclub at the Palms Casino Resort. His smash hit single, “Happier” with Bastille, topped the charts around the world, with cumulative streams nearing one billion. Certified double platinum in the U.S., “Happier” held the No. 1 position for three consecutive weeks on Billboard’s BDS and Mediabase/Top 40 Radio Airplay chart.

A three-time AMA winner, Brown continues to “break boundaries” (Associated Press) in the format. Currently nominated for two Teen Choice Awards, he is the first artist in Billboard history to Top all 5 Billboard Country charts. With the Platinum certification of “Heaven,” he became one of only five country acts with multiple 4X Platinum hits (joining Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Sam Hunt and Taylor Swift). His sophomore chart-topping album Experiment debuted No. 1 on both the Billboard 200 and Top Country Albums chart, becoming the only male country artist in more than 24 years to debut at the top of the Billboard  200, and only one of three country artists to top the Billboard 200 chart in all of 2018. Ranked by The New York Times as one of the Top 10 Best Albums of the Year, Experiment is available to stream and download HERE. RCA Records Nashville Breakout Artist/Songwriter Ryan Hurd Has Perfect Timing with New Song “Her Name Was Summer” Available Today

Fresh off a run of festivals and capacity tour stops, RCA Records Nashville artist/songwriter Ryan Hurd is releasing new music – “Her Name Was Summer” – and making his debut on the Chevy Riverfront Stage during CMA Music Festival on Sunday, June 9 (4:00 PM/CT) in Nashville. Listen HERE.

Written by Hurd with creative collaborator Aaron Eshuis and Mike Walker, “Her Name Was Summer” is the romantic counter punch to Hurd’s current single “To A T,” which continues to climb the country radio charts. Hurd recently released a stripped-down piano version of “To A T,” which is finding an ardent audience. Listen HERE.

And where “To A T” is a big picture relationship, “Her Name Was Summer,” is a smoldering snapshot:
Picture a girl with a smile make you fall too fast/
Yeah, high on a feeling that you know won’t last.

With career streams exceeding 100 million worldwide, Hurd has a gripping point of view and a growing fan base. “To A T” already hit No. 1 on the SiriusXM The Highway’s Hot 30 Countdown and has caught the attention of entertainment tastemakers including men’s lifestyle playbook Esquire and Maxim.

The praise is earned. Hurd is one of Nashville’s most multi-dimensional young songwriters. He has had co-pen credits on some of the format’s biggest hits including “Lonely Tonight” (Blake Shelton), “You Look Good” (Lady Antebellum), “Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset” (Luke Bryan), and Lady Antebellum’s latest single, the critically-acclaimed “What If I Never Get Over You.”

Now he’s releasing his own music, including “Michigan For The Winter,” “To A T,” “Diamonds Or Twine,” and “Her Name Was Summer,” available on all digital retailers and streaming platforms ( HERE).

That “I love you” would turn into/
Just something people say.

On Monday, she participated in an event benefiting music education through the CMA Foundation at Reese Witherspoon’s Nashville storefront Draper James hosted by The Nash Chat. Singled out by Sounds Like Nashville as a “much needed female voice,” Wammack is combining her personal and artistic growth alongside an “empowered posture” (NPR), which is catching the attention of fans and critics.

After writing her autobiographical debut single “Damage,” Wammack continues to evolve, crafting introspective, relatable lyrics including “Something People Say” and “Enough.” The music reflects a new chapter for Wammack, who recently became engaged to her long-time boyfriend, she continues to steadily forge her own path in the genre by showcasing “contemporary country in ways that should prove amenable to radio” (Entertainment Weekly). Download Wammack’s music  HERE.

The 24-year-old Muscle Shoals native has a “deep-rooted, classic sound” (Wide Open Country) influenced heavily by the rich music history from her hometown. Her songs showcase a “powerful, raw, honest collection” (All Access)which has earned her recognition as the only artist in the genre selected for Entertainment Weekly’s “2019 Artists to Watch” list. Wammack also made Rolling Stone’s “10 Best County EPs of 2018, Amazon and NPR ’s “Best Music of 2018” list, while earning additional “2019 Artist to Watch” acclaim from multiple outlets including AOLPandoraMusic Row, Pop Culture,Sounds Like Nashville ,and more.
