BROOKS & DUNN SHARE HIGHLY-ANTICIPATED TRACK LIST SET FOR REBOOT, OUT APRIL 5

February 21, 2019 – The best-selling duo of all time Brooks & Dunn are revealing more details regarding their upcoming album REBOOT. The duo shared with fans their collaborator for each timeless track, with each artist contributing their own unique spin. Available on April 5 , the 12-track release will see the duo team up with Kane Brown, Thomas Rhett, Brett Young, LANCO, Ashley McBryde, Brothers Osborne, Luke Combs, Midland, Cody Johnson, Jon Pardi, Tyler Booth And Kacey Musgraves on re-ignited versions of Brooks & Dunn’s biggest hits. Today, Brooks & Dunn reveals another track, Jon Pardi’s hard-core honky tonk take on “My Next Broken Heart.” Fans can listen to the new song and pre-order the entire collection HERE.

“What’s really intriguing to me is that we didn’t do any production meetings about how we might cut these things,” Kix Brooks says. “We kind of just went in, and it morphed in the process.”

“Each artist came at it from a different angle,” adds Ronnie Dunn. “When Jon Pardi walked in, he said ‘I’m in, but we’re not changing anything,’ and we didn’t musically, but his vocal speaks for itself.”

REBOOT pulls a string from Brooks & Dunn’s heyday to the here and now, feeling almost like a roadmap for where Country’s been, and where it’s going. It’s a showcase for not only the enduring appeal of tunes from “Brand New Man” with Luke Combs to “Believe” with Kane Brown, but also their impact on the current, anything-goes country landscape.

REBOOT – Track List:
1. Brand New Man (with Luke Combs)

2. Ain’t Nothing ‘Bout You (with Brett Young)

3. My Next Broken Heart (with Jon Pardi)

4. Neon Moon (with Kacey Musgraves)*

5. Lost and Found (with Tyler Booth)

6. Hard Workin’ Man (with Brothers Osborne)

7. You’re Gonna Miss Me When I’m Gone (with Ashley McBryde)

8. My Maria (with Thomas Rhett)

9. Red Dirt Road (with Cody Johnson)

10. Boot Scootin’ Boogie (with Midland)

11. Mama Don’t Get Dressed Up For Nothing (with LANCO)

12. Believe (with Kane Brown)

Produced by Dann Huff
*Produced by Dann Huff and Kacey Musgraves

With 20 No. One hits stretching back to 1991, two Grammy awards, dozens of ACM and CMA honors and a discography counting more album sales than any country duo in history – regardless of genre – Brooks & Dunn’s influence on today’s country has never been in question. Hits like “Boot Scootin’ Boogie,” “My Maria,” “Only in America,” and “Believe” have propelled the duo to more than 30 million albums sold, with the New York Times heralding “together they helped drive the power-country era of the early-to-mid 1990s and continued to benefit from the sea change in the genre they helped initiate right through their most recent albums.” Their original “Merle Haggard meets The Rolling Stones” vibe made them progressive stars in their own right.   In 2014, the duo announced their reunion along with long-time friend, Reba McEntire, for a residency called “Together in Vegas” at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, which received rave reviews and continues to be extended including more shows throughout this year. Maren Morris Releases New Song “The Bones” Feb. 22

Grammy Award-winning, artist/songwriter Maren Morris releases new song “The Bones” tomorrow for those who pre-order her forthcoming, 14-track album GIRL, which will be released on March 8 – International Women’s Day.

Prior to “The Bones,” people who have pre-ordered GIRL have received “Common” (feat. Brandi Carlile), which became available on Feb. 8, and the album’s title track “GIRL,” which made history last month when it achieved the highest debut on the Country Streaming chart by a Female Artist in addition to having the highest weekly streams by a female Country artist with 3.3 million streams after its release on Jan. 17.

Beginning tomorrow (Feb. 22), fans will receive all THREE songs when they pre-order GIRL. With the release of “The Bones,” Morris has announced the full track listing for GIRL (see below).

To celebrate the release of GIRL on March 8, which coincides with International Women’s Day, Morris will take over the plaza at NBC’s “Today” for a special performance to commemorate the occasion. More details to come.

Announced earlier this week, Morris is nominated for Female Artist of the Year at the 54TH ACM Awards, which will broadcast live from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 7 (8:00 PM/ET; delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. This nomination marks the third time Morris has received the Female Artist of the Year nomination since her debut in 2016.

Morris’ life from 2016 to 2019, at the very least, can be described as exciting. The excitement of a budding career, falling in love, becoming engaged and then married, all the highs and lows in and around every moment – for GIRL that’s what Morris chose to write about. If the past three years of her life were contained inside a single room with four walls, floor, and ceiling, then Morris chose to utilize every square inch of that room to create GIRL.

For GIRL Morris once again tapped Grammy Award-winning songwriter/producer busbee, who co-produced Morris’ 2016 debut, HERO, to co-produce 11 of the 14 songs on the album with her, while also adding Grammy Award-winning songwriter/producer Greg Kurstin to produce three of the 14 songs.

MITCHELL TENPENNY REFLECTS ON GRAND OLE OPRY DEBUT SATURDAY

Saturday evening, breakthrough country artist Mitchell Tenpenny took the stage of the Grand Ole Opry for the first time. Reflecting on his debut on Country’s most famous stage, Tenpenny remarks, “There’s a reason you dream. It’s to inspire and let you live out the ‘impossible.’ I can’t express the feeling of stepping into the circle. It’s something you can’t even relive unless you get to do it again.” He continues, “I just look at this picture and think about picking up a guitar at 12 years old. I see my team that has worked their ass off to let me experience this moment. And I see friends and family that let me keep having this dream until the ‘impossible’ happened. God is good!”

Introduced by Opry member Steve Wariner, the Riser House/Columbia Nashville recording artist kicked-off his performance with his Platinum-certified hit, “Drunk Me.” Tenpenny ended his Opry set with the song “Walk Like Him,” which he dedicated to his father Mitch Tenpenny and grandmother Donna Hilley. Mitchell’s father, who passed away four years ago to a battle with cancer, was the subject of the song. Hilley, who passed away six years ago, was the CEO of Sony/ATV Music Publishing, who Tenpenny acknowledged worked her way from receptionist to the top executive post and was a major influence on him as well as many others in the music industry.

This past weekend, Mitchell Tenpenny’s “Drunk Me” music video reached the top slot of CMT’s Hot Twenty Countdown. The clip was directed by Justin Nolan Key and produced by Ben Skipworth. In addition to reaching No. 1 on CMT’s weekly video chart, “Drunk Me” topped the Mediabase/Country Aircheck airplay chart as well as Nielsen’s Country On-Demand Audio Stream Chart.

Tenpenny’s new single, “Alcohol You Later,” continues its rapid accumulation of radio adds this week. The song, which was written by Tenpenny, Michael Lotten and Sam Sumser, who also produced the track, garnered 43 first-week stations on impact the week prior.

Featuring “Drunk Me” and “Alcohol You Later,” Mitchell Tenpenny’s Telling All My Secrets album released December 14 and earned the best country first-week showing for a major label debut album of 2018, amassing 20,000 units. The 11-song project is available to download and stream HERE

Named by The New York Times as one of the Best Songs of the Year (all genres), “Drunk Me,” has accumulated nearly 200 million streams, and has made multiple Amazon Music “Most Played” and “Best Of” year-end lists. The smash track, which remains a streaming chart Top 5, fueled a breakout year for the entertainer. Tenpenny was the only country up-and-comer included in Pandora’s 2019 Artists to Watch list, and was also dubbed one of  MusicRow‘s Next Big Thing honorees and The Tennessean‘s Next Nashville Stars for 2019.

On Feb. 1, Tenpenny concluded his “Telling All My Secrets Album Release Tour” which took the celebration of his album release to his long-supportive fans cross-country. He will join Old Dominion’s “Make It Sweet Tour” from Feb. 27 through April 27 as a special guest.

TENILLE TOWNES NAMED IHEARTCOUNTRY’S “ON THE VERGE” ARTIST

Emerging singer, songwriter and performer Tenille Townes is iHeartCountry’s next “On The Verge” artist. The program includes on-air exposure, which has already led to a lift for Townes’ debut single “Somebody’s Daughter,” as well as significant digital and social support across iHeartMedia’s network of country radio stations and websites. The program has proven instrumental in the development of such successful and highly credible artists such as Sam Hunt, Maren Morris, Luke Combs, Mitchell Tenpenny and Cam. In celebration of this honor, Townes will perform on the iHeartCountry Festival stage at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, TX on May 4.

This recognition adds to what is already proving a breakthrough year for Townes, whose single, “Somebody’s Daughter,” recently debuted #1 on both Mediabase and Nielsen BDS Country Airplay charts in Canada. This makes Townes the first Canadian country artist to have their debut single go to #1 in the Mediabase Canada era. She’s also only the second Canadian artist to top the Nielsen BDS Country Airplay chart with their first charted song and the first since Carolyn Dawn Johnson’s “Georgia” in 2000.

Townes was also recently selected as one of Amazon Music’s “2019 Artists To Watch,” CMT’s “Next Women of Country,” iHeart Radio’s “Artists To Watch in 2019” as well as being included in The Bobby Bones Show’s “Class of 2019,” CMT’s “Listen Up” and the inaugural class of “Opry NextStage.” Townes continues to garner widespread attention including recent praise at The TennesseanRefinery29Wide Open Country and Sounds Like Nashville

Moreover, NPR Music featured Townes as part of their “Best Music of 2018” coverage, hailing her as, “one of the most promising arrivals in mainstream Nashville’s burgeoning singer-songwriter movement…Townes channels ardent empathy into her observational narratives, and her performances begin with fluttery intimacy, then flare with warmth and intensity,” whileRolling Stone named her Living Room Worktapes EP one of the “10 Best Country EPs of 2018” heralding, “Tenille Townes makes a strong case for being country’s most promising young songwriter with this devastating EP.”

2019 will see the release of Townes’ highly anticipated full-length debut album on Columbia Nashville. Produced by Jay Joyce, “Somebody’s Daughter” has already been the subject of widespread attention—CMT.com asserts, “[it] embodies elements of the astute storytelling that Bobbie Gentry mastered in her classic ‘Ode to Billie Joe,’” while Taste of Country proclaims, “her debut single is a life-changer.”

In celebration of the debut, Townes is currently touring with Dierks Bentley on his extensive “Burning Man Tour.” The tour, which kicked off January 17 at Hamilton, ON’s FirstOntario Centre, features performances across Canada and the U.S., including stops at Vancouver’s Pepsi Live at Rogers Arena, Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena and Columbus’ Nationwide Arena among many others. Additionally, she will perform select dates this March in Australia as part of the international “CMA: Introducing Nashville” series. See below for complete tour details.

Canadian-born and Nashville-based, Townes first made her public appearance at age nine alongside Shania Twain after being invited to sing on stage at a concert she attended with her parents. In addition to her work as a musician and songwriter, Townes remains committed to charitable causes including her own initiative, Big Hearts For Big Kids, which has raised over $1.5 million to date benefiting a youth shelter in her hometown of Grande Prairie, Alberta.
