23 Nov Maren Morris Tops Billboard’s HEATSEEKERS Chart with Self-Titled EP
Singer/songwriter Maren Morris reached the top position this week on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums Chart following the release of the Texas native’s Self-Titled EP, which released November 6th. The EP, Maren Morris, which Nash Country Weekly describes as “groovy, vibey and highly listenable” features Morris’ popular song “My Church.”
Prior to Morris signing with Columbia Nashville the acclaimed singer/songwriter, that CMT touted as one of their “Next Women of Country,” premiered Maren Morris on Spotify, where songs from the EP have already generated in excess of 6 million worldwide streams in less than two months, with 3 songs hitting Spotify’s US and Global “Viral 50” lists.
Furthermore, Morris recently was tapped by the powerhouse music streaming service to be one of ten new artists to participate in Spotify Emerge; where 10 rising artists are selected by Spotify subscribers based off their online engagement within the service to remain in the program week-to-week for the next 36 days.
Maren has performed on select tour dates for Chris Stapleton, Sam Hunt, Loretta Lynn, and Little Big Town and now fans can catch her out on the road opening for Charles Kelley’s THE DRIVER tour.
