Jordyn Shellhart Debut Album In A Room Now Available At iTunes

High School Sophomore Will Make Her Grand Ole Opry Debut On Her 16th Birthday

Sony Music Nashville recording artist Jordyn Shellhart has released her debut album, In A Room, to iTunes this week. The album, which was first available at Best Buy in conjunction with their @15 initiative, features fifteen tracks all written or co-written by Jordyn. Whether it is the fun, flirty “Infinite X’s and O’s,” the defiant “Gravity” or the tragedy inspired "Heaven Knows," written about her brother who passed away from undiagnosed Type 1 Diabetes, Jordyn’s songs show that she is just as much a love-inspired teenager as the next girl her age, but there is also a deep, strong side to this young woman whose emotional maturity is well beyond her years.

While the idea of turning “Sweet 16” is, for most teenagers, significant because it means they can get their driver’s license, this particular birthday feels even more special for the young singer/songwriter because she will celebrate her 16th birthday making her Grand Ole Opry debut on March 27th.

For now, Jordyn is soaking in every moment while mastering the art of living a double life of a sophomore in high school and professional songwriter. Jordyn, who attends Centennial High School in Franklin, TN, is adamant about graduating before pursuing a full-fledged country music career. It is her hope to inspire and act as a role model for other teens. In A Room is available for purchase at Best Buy and iTunes.
