Nate made his late-night TV debut Wednesday evening on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” where he performed his Platinum-certified, No. 1 single “Whiskey On You.” Watch his performance here.

“I have a habit of really overthinking things in my life, especially when it comes to love,” shares Collins. “‘Petty in the 80s’ is about doing the exact opposite of that, just having fun, letting go, and letting yourself free fall. I’m a huge fan of Tom Petty and he’s always been a massive inspiration for the music I write, so it’s really cool and fun for me to get to reference and honor his music through this song.”

Buzzworthy new artist Megan Moroney debuts her latest track today, “I’m Not Pretty.” Listen to the song and watch the visualizer HERE.

Written by Moroney alongside Ben Williams, Micah Carpenter, and Mackenzie Carpenter, the track is a quippy take on the singer’s own experience of an ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend scrolling through her Instagram and accidentally liking an old photo.

“It’s a mostly true story (you can find the spring break throwback pic on my Instagram) but not meant to be taken too seriously,” Moroney said. “I think everyone can relate to somebody keeping tabs on them on social media. It was fun to write and it’s fun to sing and hopefully will become an anthem for the girls.”

Of the song, Combs shares,

“It was Valentine’s Day 2020. I was playing a show and had dedicated ‘Beautiful Crazy’ to Nicole (my fiancé at the time) and said something along the lines of, ‘If you’re in here (the arena), I love you. If not, you know I do anyway.’ Unknown to me, my buddy Dan had written down ‘Love You Anyway’ as a title in his phone, then he told me the story later that year when he and I were writing with my good friend Ray Fulcher. We loved the idea as a title and decided to write about loving someone so much that even if you knew from the beginning they were going to break your heart, you’d love them anyway. It came off very poetic and we wanted to find the words that could really give meaning to what we were trying to say, but as we say in the song, we didn’t know if there were deep enough words made for that. But it all came together and essentially it’s a heartbreak and love song all in one. And long story short, me dedicating a song I wrote about Nicole ended up turning into another song about Nicole, and now three years later the song is finally out at the same time of year. It’s a special one to me and I hope the fans love it as much as I do.”

Sony Music Nashville/Villa 40 singer-songwriter Tyler Booth shared his latest track today, “Real Real Country.” Listen here.

“When I wrote ‘Real Real Country’ I was really just having fun with it and not putting too much pressure on myself as a songwriter,” Booth said. “To me this song bridges a lot of things – modern country to traditional country, and even country music to a little bit of hip-hop. I had a lot of fun experimenting with different kinds of music and seeing where I could land that thing and still be true to myself. I’m really proud of this song because I wrote it by myself, and I think it really reflects who I am as an artist and where I’m heading.”

Written solely by Booth, the song is his first new music of the year, following last year’s cover of Post Malone’s “Feeling Whitney” and his heartfelt track, “Hey Dad.”

Recently, Booth shared stages with acts such as Darius Rucker, Jon Pardi, and Brooks & Dunn, and he is currently out on his headlining “Country Gang Tour.” The road warrior has gained a loyal fanbase through his extensive touring and is also backed by his over 850k followers on social media. SIGNS TO SONY MUSIC NASHVILLE

Rising singer-songwriter Dylan Marlowe debuted his new track, “Record High,” today. Listen here. The release arrives on the heels of Dylan’s announcement that he has signed a record deal with Sony Music Nashville in conjunction with Play It Again Entertainment.

Dylan, who is one of Spotify’s 2023 Hot Country Artists to Watch, penned “Record High” alongside Zach Abend, Abram Dean, and Tyler Collins.

“One night it was super late and my roommate tossed out the phrase ‘record high,’” Dylan said. “We started writing right then and kinda flipped what you normally think of when you think of a record high, and wrote it in a negative sense about a breakup in the absolute worst way it could be done. I’m so proud of how everything came together for this song. It’s for sure one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written.”

The Statesboro, Georgia native found his way to Nashville just before the start of the pandemic but made lemonade from lemons, filling his days with songwriting, networking, and finetuning his craft. After Dylan shared a performance of his countrified rewrite of the Olivia Rodrigo hit “Driver’s License” to social media, people really started paying attention. The clip immediately quadrupled his TikTok following and has racked up over a million views on YouTube to date. The enthusiasm surrounding the track prompted him to release it to streaming services, followed by his own infectious tunes like “All About It,” “I’ll Keep The Country,” and his most recent track, “Why’d We Break Up Again.”

Now, with his recent opening stint on Cole Swindell’s tour under his belt along with his first No. 1 as a songwriter for Jon Pardi’s “Last Night Lonely,” Dylan has set the scene for a monumental takeoff in 2023. Drawing from influences like Kenny Chesney, Eric Church and Cody Johnson, Dylan is carving out his own creative niche that he’s filling with music that fans will readily identify with the name Dylan Marlowe.
