Breakthrough county artist Kane Brown is confirmed to appear on ABC’s Good Morning America on Wednesday, December 6, for the national television premiere of his new single, “Heaven” which recently debuted #1 on theBillboard Digital Country Song chart with 35,000 total first-week consumption. Produced by award-winning producer Dann Huff and written by Matthew McGinn, Lindsay Rimes and Shy Carter, “Heaven” maintains a steady accent up country airplay and streaming charts this week as it increases to #38 in Billboard and #42 in Country Aircheck/Mediabase. Also, in this week’s Billboard issue, Brown’s last single, the Platinum-certified smash hit “What Ifs” featuring Lauren Alaina, continues to hold the #1 slot on the Country Streaming Songs chart, as it has multiple weeks during the past two months.
In October, Brown made history by becoming the first artist ever to achieve #1 on all five Billboard country charts simultaneously – #1 on Top Country Albums with the Deluxe Edition of his self-titled debut, #1 on Country Airplay, Hot Country Songs and Country Streaming Songs with his last single, the Platinum-certified “What Ifs” featuring Lauren Alaina, and #1 on the Country Digital Songs chart with “Heaven.”
This historic #1 country chart alignment took place as the singer/songwriter amassed 43,000 in first-week consumption with the release of the Deluxe Edition on October 6, also achieving a Billboard 200 all-genre position of #5. Brown’s original version of the album debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top Albums and Top 10 on the Billboard 200 and remains country’s best-selling new-artist debut of the past three years. The Top Country Albums chart reflects traditional albums sales, track equivalent albums and streaming equivalent albums compiled by Nielsen Music. The Deluxe Edition is available HERE.
