Breakout star Nate Smith’s hit song, “Whiskey On You,” tops the country radio charts for the second week in a row, achieving the first multi-week No. 1 on a debut single since 2019 on the Billboard Country Airplay, and since 2018 on the Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart. Today, he was surprised by his Sony Music Nashville, WME, and The CORE Entertainment teams with an RIAA Platinum-certification plaque for the song. To celebrate the achievement, Nate will release two new songs from his upcoming, self-titled album next Friday, “Better Boy” and “Oil Spot.” The full-length album will arrive April 28. Pre-add/order/save HERE.

Nate will perform the No. 1 smash hit on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on February 15.

Adding to the song’s accolades, “Whiskey On You” was also No. 1 on Canada’s country radio chart for six weeks – making the song the longest running No. 1 country debut by a male vocalist in their chart history.

Nate was recognized on multiple 2023 “Artist to Watch” lists this year including Amazon’s Breakthrough Artists to Watch, MusicRow’s Next Big Thing, CMT’s Listen Up, CRS New Faces, among others. With his first No. 1 under his belt and his debut, self-titled album set to arrive April 28, Smith proves to be “powering through his own lane and will only go up from here” (MusicRow).

NATE SMITH’S “WHISKEY ON YOU” ACHIEVES FIRST MULTI-WEEK NO. 1 ON A DEBUT SINGLE SINCE 2019

Nate shared about the impending full-length project: “It has been so much fun making this album, and I really believe in every one of these songs. Releasing an album has always been a goal of mine, but at the end of the day it’s really not about me. It’s about being able to reach other people with music that means something.” He adds that his mission with his music is to be a “conduit of hope”; a selfless and passionate driving force that’s thematic in his songs. “I’m not trying to be cool, or reinvent the wheel, or chase musical trends…I’m going after the heart of the matter.”

Nate’s journey to Nashville and the challenges he endured along the way are traceable in his gravelly tone, including losing his hometown of Paradise, CA to Camp Fire, the deadliest and most destructive fire in the state’s history. Following the fire, Nate turned to music to cope, eventually inspiring a cross-country road trip to Nashville to pursue music fulltime.

Through all the hardships, the rising star found purpose and hope. Like Nate, the 20-song collection is honest, raw, real, and threaded together with optimism. While each song tells its own story, Nate unveils two sides of his artistry through the project: deep, heartfelt ballads and fun-loving, drink in the air, country jams. The two are intertwined with undeniable hooks and his signature velvet thunder vocals.

Nate will be joining Thomas Rhett on his HOME TEAM TOUR 23, which will kick off May 4 in Des Moines, IA, and will hit a total of 40 cities this summer. Tickets are on sale now. For tour dates, tickets, and additional information, visit NateSmithOfficial.com.

WILLIE JONES MARVELS AT WHAT “THEM GIRLS DO” ON NEW RELEASE

CONFIRMED FOR C2C AND GOLDENSKY FESTIVALS

Willie Jones drops his latest jam today with “Them Girls Do.” Listen here

“‘Them Girls Do’ gives a peek on what many of us look for in a girlfriend: a chameleon. Someone who can flip it by being proper and polite and then – bam – possess that danger gene. Think ‘…A little Sunday morning, a little Friday night,’” said Jones. “I wrote this song with my friends Nick Autry and Justin Ebach in Los Angeles, at The Penthouse Studios. We wanted a different type of party vibe and when those opening banjo licks get goin’, you just wanna turn up.  I’m not afraid of a little mischief but most of the time, it ain’t me starting it, it’s ‘Them Girls.’”

“Them Girls Do” follows “Get Low, Get high (Part 2),” Jones’ impactful collaboration with GRAMMY Award winner Jon Batiste and Pastor Michael Todd.

Jones is primed to return to Europe as part of the C2C Festival in London, and will perform at GoldenSky Festival in Sacramento, CA. Between it all he is writing and recording new music with fresh releases expected soon.

DYLAN MARLOWE CELEBRATES “RECORD HIGH”

SIGNS TO SONY MUSIC NASHVILLE

Rising singer-songwriter Dylan Marlowe debuted his new track, “Record High,” today. Listen here. The release arrives on the heels of Dylan’s announcement that he has signed a record deal with Sony Music Nashville in conjunction with Play It Again Entertainment.

Dylan, who is one of Spotify’s 2023 Hot Country Artists to Watch, penned “Record High” alongside Zach Abend, Abram Dean, and Tyler Collins.

“One night it was super late and my roommate tossed out the phrase ‘record high,’” Dylan said. “We started writing right then and kinda flipped what you normally think of when you think of a record high, and wrote it in a negative sense about a breakup in the absolute worst way it could be done. I’m so proud of how everything came together for this song. It’s for sure one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written.”

The Statesboro, Georgia native found his way to Nashville just before the start of the pandemic but made lemonade from lemons, filling his days with songwriting, networking, and finetuning his craft. In 2020, Dylan signed a publishing and artist development deal with hit songwriter and publisher Dallas Davidson’s Play It Again Entertainment. After Dylan shared a performance of his countrified rewrite of the Olivia Rodrigo hit “Driver’s License” to social media, people really started paying attention. The clip immediately quadrupled his TikTok following and has racked up over a million views on YouTube to date. The enthusiasm surrounding the track prompted him to release it to streaming services, followed by his own infectious tunes like “All About It,” “I’ll Keep The Country,” and his most recent track, “Why’d We Break Up Again.”

Now, with his recent opening stint on Cole Swindell’s tour under his belt along with his first No. 1 as a songwriter for Jon Pardi’s “Last Night Lonely,” Dylan has set the scene for a monumental takeoff in 2023. Drawing from influences like Kenny Chesney, Eric Church and Cody Johnson, Dylan is carving out his own creative niche that he’s filling with music that fans will readily identify with the name Dylan Marlowe.

ANDREW JANNAKOS SHARES GRIPPING NEW TRACK, “GETTIN’ THERE”

RCA Nashville/Sony Music Nashville vocalist Andrew Jannakos released his latest track, “Gettin’ There,” today. Listen here.

“‘Gettin’ There’ is a song about vulnerability and working towards something better,” Jannakos said. “It’s about realizing that you may not be in the best spot, and that’s ok, but you can always keep working towards something greater. It’s also about those friends and family that are there with you no matter what, which we all need.”

He added, “We all are either going through something, or know of someone who is and I hope folks can listen to this song and allow it to help them to keep going, to keep working towards that better place.”

“Gettin’ There” is Jannakos’s follow up to recently released “Heaven’s Like A Hometown,” which CMT praised that it not only shows off his “colorful knack for songwriting, but [also] his robust vocals made for the radio,” while Country Now deemed the song “a slice of nostalgia with a whole lot of heart.” The Nash News added, “With a voice like Jannakos,’ one can never go wrong.”

Last month Jannakos was surprised with a Gold-certification plaque for his explosive debut single “Gone Too Soon” while he was on stage at his sold-out hometown show in Flowery Branch, GA. Upon the official release of the song, Jannakos earned a #1 debut on Billboard’s Emerging Artist Chart, while the track landed at #12 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and within the Hot 100. “Gone Too Soon” has amassed over 90 million on-demand streams to date.

RESTLESS ROAD RELEASE UPLIFTING NEW BALLAD “ON MY WAY”

LISTEN HERE

RELEASES VISUALIZER FEATURING PAST AND CURRENT FOOTAGE OF THE TRIO

WATCH HERE

CURRENTLY ON TOUR WITH KANE BROWN IN EUROPE & THE UK

Rising trio Restless Road (Zach Beeken, Garrett Nichols and Colton Pack) release an uplifting new ballad and visualizer for “On My Way” today (listen here/watch here).  The deeply personal song was written by Beeken, Nichols and Pack as well as Kyle Clark and Lindsay Rimes and produced by Dann Huff while the visualizer features old footage of the harmony-driven trio as well as them over the past few years on their journey together.

“‘On My Way’ is a song we wrote as a reminder to ourselves that it’s okay to be a work in progress. It’s okay to not have all of the answers. It’s okay to fail,” says Zach while Garrett echoes, “we want fans to take away that it is perfectly normal to not be perfect, and that it is important to embrace and be true to yourself.”  Colton says of writing the song, “it’s one of the most vulnerable songs we’ve ever written. It helped us through one of the most uncertain times of our life, so we wanted to release this song and we hope that it can help other people too.”

But I’m on my way, wherever I go

I’ll keep on walking this long, winding road

And I ain’t afraid to love or to change

And be someone better than I was yesterday

I ain’t there yet (I ain’t there yet) but I’m on my way
I’m on my way, oh

2022 proved to be a successful year for the trio as they embarked on both Kane Brown’s international Drunk or Dreaming Tour and US Blessed & Free Tour as well as their own headline Bar Friends Tour.  Their cumulative career streams reached over 157 million following the release of “Sundown Somewhere,” was named as one of the Opry’s Next Stage Artists and appeared on an episode of ABC’s The Bachelor

2023 starts with a bang with the band being named as one of Spotify’s Hot Country Artists To Watch and music to roll out all year long. The trio is currently continuing in Europe and the UK with Brown and will play Stagecoach this April.  For more information on touring please visit www.restlessroad.com.
