MIRANDA LAMBERT PREMIERES “BLUEBIRD” MUSIC VIDEO TODAY

Miranda Lambert premiered her new music video for “Bluebird” today, following a live Q&A with fans. Click here to view.

“I love ‘Bluebird.’ It’s a song like I’ve never written before and I’m so proud to be a part of it,” said Lambert.  “Since I wrote it, I’ve been seeing bluebirds everywhere. The bluebirds had always been there – I live on a farm – but I never saw them like I see them now. It reminds me to open my eyes to what’s around me. Now, seeing a bluebird sitting on a branch means so much more to me. I see a little piece of hope there, sitting with wings, and it’s a reminder. I think this is one of those songs where every person takes what they need to from it.”

“Bluebird” marks Lambert’s second radio single from her critically acclaimed album Wildcard. The Top 30-and-climbing track follows Lambert’s Top 15, Grammy-nominated hit “It All Comes Out in the Wash.” Directed by Trey Fanjoy, the video brings to life the “impeccably crafted bit of breeze about resilience and keeping on” (Stereogum) and “spacious, atmospheric number about…maintaining hope” (Rolling Stone).

Wildcard is currently nominated for ACM Album of the Year, where Lambert is also nominated for Female Artist of the Year and Music Event of the Year (“Fooled Around and Fell In Love” featuring Maren Morris, Elle King, Ashley McBryde, Tenille Townes and Caylee Hammack).

LANCO FLASHBACK TO SIMPLER DAYS IN “WHAT I SEE” MUSIC VIDEO OUT NOW

Multi-Platinum band and Arista Nashville hit-makers LANCO take a step back in time in the new music video for their nostalgic single “What I See.” The music video heightens the song’s vivid lyrics of hometown memories proving there’s more to everyone than what meets the eye. Lead singer Brandon Lancaster created the concept alongside director Peter Zavadil and also serves as a co-writer on the track with drummer Tripp Howell, bassist Chandler Baldwin and Jeremy Spillman. “What I See” is known to “showcase the band’s versatility” (Billboard ) and has already garnered more than 8 million streams alone and its music video is now available here.

“This music video explores the idea that everyone has their own story and their own perspective on what makes that story special,” Lancaster said. “I wanted the narrative to highlight how different pillars can evoke different emotions in people depending on the path they’ve taken — whether it be a scoreboard, a curve in a road or even one’s own reflection. The center-point of the video is at a dive bar which to many could seem insignificant, but to us it represents the place where the concept of this song was born.”

Go behind the scenes with LANCO on the music video set for “What I See” as they share the importance of detailing the past here.

Through “What I See” LANCO “builds from simplicity to epic grandeur” (Music Row) as they fuse together a modern twist on sentimental memories that are combined with a fresh mix of organic sounds. Filled with their signature anthemic melodies and sing-along choruses the “devastatingly universal concept” (Taste of Country) is another example of how LANCO “makes music that matters and sounds original,” (Planet Weekly). The new single also served as the name behind their headlining WHAT I SEE TOUR where “the crowd-pleasing country-rock quintet” (Chicago Daily Herald) was known to deliver “giant singalongs” (St. Louis Dispatch).

LANCO continues to pave its course after the the success of their 2x Platinum multi-week radio chart-topper “Greatest Love Story” and critically acclaimed Gold hit “Born To Love You.” The five-man band’s No. 1-selling debut and coming-of-age album, HALLELUJAH NIGHTS , made LANCO the first Country group to debut on the Billboard Top Country Albums charts at No. 1 in 10 years. The new music from the ACM “New Group of the Year” follows multiple nominations from from the CMT, CMA, ACM, AMA, and iHeartAwards, while Lancaster became the first member of a group to ever win NSAI’s “Songwriter/Artist of the Year.” Critics continue to be impressed with the chart-topping band’s persistence of “bringing a combustible mix of romance and live-for-the-moment joy” (Journal Courier).

Tyler Booth Releases Ultimate Weekend Anthem, “Half A Mind To Go Crazy”

Sony Music Nashville/Villa 40 recording artist Tyler Booth unveiled his new song, “Half A Mind To Go Crazy,” today on all  streaming platforms and digital retailers. The mid-tempo anthem, which Booth wrote alongside Brice Long, Wynn Varble, and long-time collaborator Phil O’Donnell, is sung from the point of view of a nine-to-fiver finally off duty and ready to let loose. It follows the singer’s debut tracks, “Long Comes a Girl” and “Where the Livin’ Is” which were released in November 2019. As a native of a small town in Southeastern, Kentucky, Booth connected with the work-hard, play-hard spirit..

“This song’s about the guy that just works his tail off and never gets a chance to enjoy himself,” Tyler Booth says. “I feel like everybody’s been there at one point or another. You ain’t missed a day of work in a month of Mondays, and you decide to just go out and cut a rug. There are a lot of blue-collar heroes out there, and they really make the world go ‘round.”

The 23-year-old songwriter, who inked a publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music last month, has a slew of upcoming nationwide shows including an opening slot for Willie Nelson at CMA Theater in Nashville on May 1. He also performs regularly at the famed Austin City Saloon in Lexington, Kentucky. When crafting “Half A Mind To Go Crazy,” Booth and his co-writers’ goal was to channel Hank Williams, Sr. for want of a more traditional sound.

“We started thinking in the vein of old Hank songs,” Booth says of the writing session. “Some of the quirkier stuff, like ‘Howlin’ At The Moon’ and ‘Setting The Woods On Fire,’ especially. So this one leans more traditional, but I like variety. As long as a song feels like me, and I’m proud of it, that’s all I need.”

ROSS ELLIS DEBUTS PERSONAL NEW VIDEO FOR BREAKTHROUGH SONG “BUY AND BUY”

Having penned tracks for some of country music’s biggest acts, including country superstar Tim McGraw, singer/songwriter Ross Ellis has quickly become an “artist to watch” according to The Boot. Following the success of his song “Buy and Buy,” the Sony Nashville Recording artist is sharing a deeply personal video for the powerful track that recounts the loss of his childhood home in a fire several years ago and the power of family and rebuilding. The music video for “Buy and Buy” debuts exclusively today on American Songwriter.

“I was very reluctant to tell this part of my story, and even tried to keep it from my Nashville friends and co-writers for quite some time,” Ellis shared with American Songwriterfollowing the devastating tornados in middle Tennessee this week. “But in all honesty, it is so trivial in comparison to what people have gone through in recent days. I’ve learned that ‘things’ can be rebuilt and replaced, but my heart breaks for the precious lives that were lost in Middle Tennessee on Tuesday.  There is so much hurt in Music City right now.”

Written by Ellis along with Thomas James Schleiter and Allison Veltz Cruz and produced by Brett Vargason and Tom Michael, the song reflects on materialism and one of life’s most valuable commodities, time, the one thing that none of us can buy. Directed by Jeff Ray, the video features personal photos and video of Ellis and his family recounting the fire that took everything but Ellis’ guitar, which was saved by his father.

“I felt a similar sense of loss and uncertainty when we lost our family home several years ago,” Ellis shared as he reflected on rebuilding after the fire. “I’m so thankful for my co-writers who were willing to put their hearts on their sleeves and go to that painful place with me while writing ‘Buy and Buy,’ and I hope this song and video offers some comfort to those who need it. I’ve been so moved by the heart of  the Nashville community. The love and support I’ve seen this week reminds me of my hometown community in Monterey. We couldn’t have made this video without them and the photos they shared so Jeff could bring my family’s story to life.”

The video follows a number of powerful songs from the singer/songwriter since moving to Nashville including, “Home for the Weekend” in 2017, followed by his hauntingly powerful song, “Ghosts,” in 2018 which Rolling Stone named a “top song of the week” and his most recent release the soulful and uplifting track, “Home to Me.”

Since its release late last year, “Buy and Buy” has continued to receive a strong response from listeners as well reaching over 2 million in consumption to date and averaging almost 2000 in weekly sales with superstar Thomas Rhett telling Nash Country Daily “…it’s one of the freshest songs on the radio.” Listen to “ Buy and Buy,” and watch the new video  here.
