Country Sensation Cam Hits the Top 10 with Her Gold-Certified Smash, “Burning House”

Arista Nashville/RCA Records singer/songwriter Cam this week achieved her first Top 10 single at country radio with her powerful and impactful RIAA Gold-certified smash, “Burning House.”  The song is one of 11 co-written by Cam and featured on her December 11 album release, Untamed, available for digital pre-order now here. Each pre-order will receive four tracks instantly, including “Burning House,” “My Mistake,” “Runaway Train,” and “Half Broke Heart.”

In other news, Cam has been announced to perform at the 5th annual Cyndi Lauper & Friends: Home for the Holidays benefit concert, December 5 at New York City’s historic Beacon Theatre.  Prior sold-out years have welcomed such performers as P!nk, Sarah McLachlan, Josh Groban, Jason Mraz, 50 Cent, Nelly Furtado, Norah Jones, Susan Sarandon, and many more.  In addition to Cam, joining Lauper at this year’s event are Natasha Bedingfield, Boy George, Judy Gold, Ledisi, Keb’ Mo’, Sharon Osbourne, Jordan Pundik, Richie Sambora & Orianthi, Valerie Simpson, Anne Steele, Joey Taranto, Justin Tranter, and Kurt Vile, with the evening hosted by Carson Kressley.  Home for the Holidays has become the signature event for Lauper’s True Colors Fund and provides a significant source of funding towards fulfilling the organization’s mission to end homelessness among lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth.

Cam has recently been in the spotlight at several other high-profile events, including presenting on The 49th Annual CMA Awards.  According to Billboard, who just named Cam one of 13 country artists to watch, she is the second solo female artist to reach the Top 10 on Billboard’s Country Airplay Chart for the first time in 2015.

Cam also performed for patients and other special guests in Washington, DC, this past Friday when Children’s National Health System, in partnership with the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, opened a new, state-of-the-art, 920 sq. ft. multimedia broadcast studio, named Seacrest Studios, located inside the Children’s National Main Atrium at the Sheikh Zayed Campus for Advanced Children’s Medicine.  A special unveiling ceremony took place at Children’s National, hosted by Ryan Seacrest and also featuring appearances by Lucy Hale, Robin Thicke, and Olympic Gold Medalist Katie Ledecky.

This week, Cam’s single, “Burning House,” climbs to #10 on both the Billboard and Country Aircheck country airplay charts.
