Rachel Wammack, a 24-year old native from Muscle Shoals, Alabama, describes her sound as the trifecta of Country, Soul and Adult Pop. Being influenced heavily from the rich music history of her hometown, Rachel had no choice but to be shaped and sharpened by the artistic gusto that comes when those sounds merge. Rachel honed her craft not only as vocalist, but as a songwriter. At the age of 12, Rachel wrote her first song. Throughout the following adolescent years, Rachel expressed her art in her songwriting, storytelling, playing in the High school band, and pursuing a degree in professional writing. At the age of 17 she was discovered by a Sony Music Nashville executive while Rachel was performing at a fine cuisine, piano restaurant in Muscle Shoals. Five years and many written songs later, Rachel would receive a record deal from Sony Music Nashville. In April 2018 Rachel released her self-titled, four song EP via the RCA Records Nashville imprint, giving her ever growing fan base a taste of the music that’s still to come. Wammack’s EP, which includes her newly-released debut single “Damage,” proves that the young singer/songwriter is standing at the starting line of what promises to be an exciting, self-fulfilling and stunning career.  Combs and TA Films, the team behind his first three music videos, put  intentionality  into every moment to create a scavenger  hunt for fans throughout the video of milestone moments from Combs’ story. Woven into the video narrative are nods towards Combs’ lyrics, cameos  of band members & songwriting friends,  throw backs to Boone, N.C. and  This One’s  Fori  You Too highlights.

The concept is  particularly special for “She Got The  Best Of Me” as the track has been a bubbling viral fan favorite since Combs first co-wrote and released it in 2014 on his  Can I Get  An Outlaw?   EP prior to moving to Nashville, Tenn.

Among the many special elements, highlights are :

  • Combs performing with “She Got The  Best Of Me” co-writers, Channing Wilson & Rob Snyder, at the songwriter’s night Revival at Tin Roof in Nashville where he first met both songwriters.
  • Combs’ Dodge Neon – the car he owned  when  he moved to Nashville
  • The Klondike Cafe sign – the location of  Combs’  very first video for “Let The Moonshine”.
  • The stickered guitar Luke is playing is the first one he learned to play on and wrote his first EP on.
  • Snapshots  from “Hurricane”, “When It Rains It Pours” and “One
Number Away” music videos are all a part of the new video.   Original vine video of Combs first singing “She Got The Best Of Me”
  • Footage of Luke performing at Coyote Joe’s in Charlotte, N.C. – the venue Combs first saw Eric Church play and that he later headlined & earned the record for the fastest sell-out

Combs recently culminated  a week of first  where he debuted at Madison Square Garden to a sold-out crowd on the  High Noon Neon Tour  with Jason Aldean and joined Lollapalooza as the only country artist on the bill for a packed-out performance to a sea of fans.
