MORGAN WADE ANNOUNCES ANTICIPATED SOPHOMORE PROJECT “PSYCHOPATH” AVAILABLE AUG. 25

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Most artists don’t top Rolling Stone’s Best Country Albums of the year list with their debut album. But most artists aren’t Morgan Wade, who earned the top spot with her scathingly honest and raw 2021 LP Reckless. While Reckless, and its Top 30 lead single “Wilder Days,” busted down the doors and introduced Wade as a once-in-a-generation songwriter, she now readies her anticipated follow-up project, Psychopath, arriving Aug. 25 via Sony Music Nashville. Pre-save/pre-add/pre-order HERE and listen to the solo-written title track Friday, May 19.

“Regardless of what people say about Psychopath, I’m proud because I feel like it showcases where I’m at with my sophomore album,” said Wade. “I have no choice but to be authentic. And I have to feel what I feel. And right now, I’m really feeling the music.”

An astounding 13-track LP crafted with the help of notable musical talents, from A-list songwriters to studio musicians and Wade’s longtime producer-guru/song whisperer Sadler Vaden, Psychopath most excitingly finds Wade peeling back layers of her psyche like never before.

A relentless writer, Wade had penned what would become the album’s title track and as far back as the weeks leading up to Reckless’ release. A one-take meditation on “being so engrossed in someone, it’s like “What the hell was I doing before I met you? I don’t even fucking know!” Don’t let the title fool you: “When you look at the title, you don’t assume that’s a love song. But it is,” she said. “I kinda dig that.”

Wade has been no stranger to the road throughout the first quarter of 2023 on her headlining NO SIGNS OF SLOWING DOWN TOUR, which sold out 35 shows for more than 40,000 tickets sold. She was a highlight at last month’s Stagecoach Festival, where the Desert Sun named her one of the “six women who dominated” the weekend. Wade appears on Diplo’s new album Thomas Wesley: Chapter 2 – Swamp Savant, will join Turnpike Troubadours and Eric Church for select dates throughout summer and fall, and is set for appearances at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Railbird, Austin City Limits, and more high-profile festivals before heading back to Europe for a fall headline run.

A Virginia native, Wade has broken away from the pack to become one of country music’s most compelling new voices. Possessed with a raw and unflinching voice anchored by a perfect tinge of twang; the rare ability to pen honest portraits of some of life’s most precious and painful and unpredictable moments; and an onstage vulnerability that so seamlessly breaks down the wall between fan and artist, Wade has quickly made her mark on the country music scene — and the music world at large – with nominations for ACM New Female Artist of the Year, Americana Music Association Emerging Act of the Year, and CMT Breakthrough Female Video of the Year.

NEW MUSIC: ADAM DOLEAC REVEALS TWO SIDES OF THE “WRONG SIDE OF A SUNRISE”

STUDIO AND DEMO VERSIONS OF NEW TRACK, AVAILABLE NOW

CLOSES OUT HEADLINE BARSTOOL WHISKEY WONDERLAND TOUR WITH ELECTRIC SHOW IN KNOXVILLE

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Rising singer-songwriter Adam Doleac is gifting fans with two different versions of his latest release, “Wrong Side Of A Sunrise.” On Friday, Doleac released a studio version on the song, and then today he followed it up with a stripped back, demo version. Listen to the studio version HERE and the demo version HERE.

Inspired by fans who fell in love with the raw, stripped back clip of “Wrong Side Of A Sunrise” he shared on his socials in recent months, Doleac decided to drop a second side of the song, to give fans the exact version they had been asking for.

“Wrong Side Of A Sunrise” arrives on the heels of Doleac’s Barstool Whiskey Wonderland (Wonderland Sides) EP, which consists of acoustic versions of several fan favorites, including “Famous,” “Coulda Loved You Longer,” and “Don’t It Sound Alright.” The acoustic EP along with the “Wrong Side Of A Sunrise” demo are nods to his fans who continuously requested stripped down versions of his music to highlight his smooth, honeyed vocals.

About his recent releases, Doleac said, “With this music, I decided to fully lean into who I am. Instead of writing songs to fit a certain mold, I’m writing songs that are 100% me. I’m going to do what I do best.” Doleac feels he’s at his best when he taps into his singer-songwriter vein, creating songs that are driven by clever lyrics with his soulful vocals.

Last fall, Doleac released his debut album, Barstool Whiskey Wonderland, which Billboard noted, “The 18-track collection shows off Doleac’s smooth, sultry vocals…The album also displays his strong storytelling craft–he co-wrote all but one of the tracks on the set.” He co-wrote every song on the album aside from his collaboration with Danielle Bradbery, “Fake Love,” which was penned by an all-star lineup made up of HARDY, Ryan Hurd, Maren Morris and Jordan Schmidt.

Last week, Adam wrapped his headlining BARSTOOL WHISKEY WONDERLAND TOUR in Knoxville, TN with an electric show. The tour, which included special guest, Alana Springsteenhit sold out crowds in New York, Boston, Dallas, Houston, and Charlotte and others. He’ll also be performing at country’s biggest event of the year at CMA Fest on Thursday, June 8th as well as Bash on the Bay and Golden Sky Festival later this year.

KARLEY SCOTT COLLINS ARRIVES WITH HER COMPELLING DEBUT EP “HANDS ON THE WHEEL”

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Sony Music Nashville singer-songwriter Karley Scott Collins proudly introduces her debut EP, Hands on the Wheel, available everywhere today. With a strong creative vision, Collins’ artistry shines in every part of this project through her involvement in writing, co-producing the title track, and even hand painting her cover art. Overflowing with honest storytelling, soulful grit, and themes that explore coping with the chaos of romance in your twenties, fans will be entangled in a world of emotions from Collins’ major label debut project.

“These songs are pieces of my heart that I’m putting back together in a collection of songs, and I hope that everyone who listens can find a piece of their heart in it too,” Collins shares about the EP. “Love, heartbreak and everything in between is such a rollercoaster, it feels like sometimes all you can do is keep your hands on the wheel.”

Collins shines as a co-writer on all five songs and even had her hand in co-producing the title track with Nathan Chapman (Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, Keith Urban), a facet of creative control she enjoyed. Every aspect of this collection aims to reveal a deeper understanding of the passion Collins has for the music she creates and releases, even painting the cover art the way only “a true visionary” (Country Swag) can. Throughout the project, Collins’ unique, captivating vocal helps to elevate the compelling narrative.

Each song touches on a different shade and emotion of what it means to go from love to heartbreak. The title track kicks off with the feeling of trying to drive away your emotions and outrun a breaking heart. “Brain On Love” highlights infatuation and the early stages of a relationship. As things shift, “Favorite Perfume” emotes the feeling of someone’s memory lingering long after they’re gone, and how hard it can be to stop your heart from loving someone. “Loose Thread” depicts the heart-racing adrenaline and pain of seeing an old flame in person for the first time after the relationship ends. Finally, “Heavenly” takes listeners through the euphoric feeling of being secure and truly happy.

Hands on the Wheel track listing

1. “Hands on the Wheel” // Written by Karley Scott Collins, Nathan Chapman, Natalie Hemby. Produced by Nathan Chapman and Karley Scott Collins

2. “Brain on Love” // Written by Karley Scott Collins, Summer Overstreet, Cameron Bartolini, Liam Kevany. Produced by Dann Huff

COLBY ACUFF SIGNS WITH SONY MUSIC NASHVILLE

MAJOR LABEL DEBUT ALBUM WESTERN WHITE PINES RELEASING JUNE 9

NEW SONG “PLAYING GOD AGAIN” AVAILABLE NOW

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Idaho native Colby Acuff has signed with Sony Music Nashville and will release his major label debut album Western White Pines June 9. Pre-save/pre-add/pre-order HERE.

“When I started playing music, I never thought that I’d get a record deal. I’ve always had the mentality that we’d have to go out and do it all on our own. What I realize now is that there are some amazing people in the business who truly understand me,” said Acuff. “I’m very excited to announce that I’ll be working with Sony Music Nashville. I feel as though they truly hear me out and understand what my intentions are going forward in this industry.”

A fourth generation Idaho native with a rugged spirit true to his mountain home, honest-to-a-fault lyrics and a sound as raw as the remote wilderness, Acuff’s untamed brand of country stands proudly apart in today’s format, pure and untouched by modern gimmicks. From two-stepping honky tonk anthems with a frontier philosopher’s eye, to serene campfire confessions, full of spiritual scar tissue and road-weary wisdom, every track on his first three independently released albums was written entirely solo. Working with acclaimed producer/engineer Eddie Spear (Zach Bryan, Brandi Carlile, Cody Jinks) Western White Pines was recorded with a new team of top-flight talent at Nashville’s Sound Emporium. Another batch of gritty, solo-written songs – plus the first ever co-writes of a promising career – it will help introduce a country talent as wild and free as the Idaho mountains themselves.

Western White Pines is a project full of some of my favorite songs. The record is unique in all aspects of the word,” said Acuff. “You will never hear the same song twice, but you will know that it’s a Colby Acuff record.”

Today, Acuff releases the latest glimpse at the project, “Playing God Again,” a fiddle-heavy barn stomper co-written with Dwight Baker.

“‘Playing God Again’ is an observation of change. I feel like everybody right now either wants change or can’t stand change,” observed Acuff. “In reality everything changes, but we can’t control when or by how much. You can’t stop change, and so ‘Playing God Again’ is a message of letting go. Stop worrying about things you can’t control.”

Acuff has earned nearly 60 million on-demand streams on his three independent albums, traditionally releasing one full project every year. The untamed new talent has toured with the likes of Lainey Wilson, 49 Winchester, Flatland Calvary and more and is appearing on select Whiskey Jam Tailgate shows ahead of Luke Combs’ summer stadium dates.

He is represented by Make Wake Artists and WME.

ALANA SPRINGSTEEN STARTS “FIGURING IT OUT” ON SECOND INSTALLMENT OF “TWENTY SOMETHING” OUT JULY 14

NASHVILLE, TENN. — Columbia Records NY/Sony Music Nashville artist-songwriter Alana Springsteen announces the July 14 release of TWENTY SOMETHING: Figuring It Out – the daringly honest second installment of her three-part debut album, TWENTY SOMETHING. An up-close look at her journey toward the life-changing empowerment of true self-discovery, Figuring It Out features tell-all title track “twenty something”: a confessional and candidly detailed piece of self-reflection premiering today (4/28). Listen to “twenty something” and pre-save/pre-add TWENTY SOMETHING: Figuring It Out hereCheck out the visualizer for “twenty something.”

Figuring It Out follows the release of TWENTY SOMETHING: Messing It Up – the widely acclaimed first installment to TWENTY SOMETHING, on which the 22-year-old Virginia Beach, VA, native opened up about all the mistakes and misadventures of early adulthood (listen to TWENTY SOMETHING: Messing It Up here). Now, on this six-track collection of soul-baring songs all co-penned by Springsteen, she sheds light on the steps she’s taken to shake off her insecurities, lean into life’s endless contradictions, and learn what she truly needs to be happy and healthy. “Figuring It Outexplores a lot of the work I’ve been doing on myself over the past few years – I really call myself out in these songs,” admits Springsteen. “Finding my true self has meant giving up on seeing things in black-and-white and getting comfortable with the gray. What does it mean to live with integrity? To have a strong moral compass? Defining these concepts for myself has been a process, but one that’s given me the beginnings of a blueprint to help me live life on my own terms. The journey of writing, recording, and singing these songs live has helped me do that. Through them, I’ve gotten to know myself and so many people who are in various stages of doing the same work. Also, there’s a really unique collaboration on this project with a song called ‘ghost in my guitar’ that I’m insanely excited about and proud of. It still feels a little surreal. I can’t wait to tell that story.”

Although Figuring It Out confronts such complex issues as fractured friendships, post-heartbreak healing, and struggles with self-worth, Springsteen brightens every song with her magnetic voice and sing-along-ready hooks – not to mention, her one-of-a-kind gift for crafting highly specific lyrics that resonate on a near-universal level. A perfect example of that dynamic, “twenty something” brings both diary-like detail and whip-smart humor to an intimate account of the nonstop emotional roller coaster of life in your 20s. Sparked from a voice memo she recorded alone on piano, the quietly soaring track finds Springsteen owning up to all her flaws – including everything from minor bad habits like letting her car run on fumes to more deep-rooted problems like imposter syndrome – and ultimately speaks to the power and peace of mind that comes with fully embracing your imperfections.

As Springsteen reveals, “twenty something” took shape in a session with co-writers Liz Rose (a multi-Grammy Award-winning hitmaker whose songwriting credits include iconic hits like Taylor Swift’s “All Too Well”), AJ Pruis, and Trannie Anderson, during a retreat at Rose’s beach house. “Liz looked at me and asked, ‘If there was one song that you could play for people that could tell them exactly where you are in your life right now, what would it be?’ ‘twenty something’ was the only answer,” Springsteen recalls. “It’s one of those songs that started falling out because it’s what I desperately needed to say – for myself and for so many twenty-somethings out there who were probably going through the same things I was. I’ve been on so much of a high the last few years, living my best life. And every now and then – more often than I’d like – something happens that reminds me just how much living I have left to do. We think we have everything figured out, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. ‘twenty something’ has sparked some insightful conversations with friends and strangers all over the world, and there seems to be one universal truth that’s come out of those interactions: no matter how old you are, you never really have everything figured out. There’s always something out there ready to humble you.”

Co-produced with Chris LaCorte (Sam Hunt, Cole Swindell) and built on a bracingly vulnerable vocal performance from Springsteen who also gets acoustic guitar and piano credits, “twenty something” unfolds in ethereal textures, stark guitar tones, gorgeous swells of strings, and soul-stirring harmonies – an element that lends an undeniable potency to the song’s unforgettable refrain: “We know it all and don’t know nothing / At twenty something.” “The strings were a very important part of this track,” Springsteen shares. “They’re so anthemic and add such a weight to a song like this. I also love that we stripped everything out before the outro and let the song end with just me on piano. I love the symbolism of it: at the end of the day, your life experience is yours alone. It’s on you to figure out how to live your life to the fullest.”

ALANA SPRINGSTEEN’S TWENTY SOMETHING: Figuring It Out TRACK LIST

1. “twenty something” (Alana Springsteen, Liz Rose, AJ Pruis, Trannie Anderson)
2. “chameleon” (Alana Springsteen, Sasha Alex Sloan, King Henry)+
3. “here’s to all my exes” (Alana Springsteen, Will Weatherly, Rodney Clawson, Chris Tompkins)^
4. “hypocrite” (Alana Springsteen, Mitchell Tenpenny, Will Weatherly, Ryan Beaver)*
5. “when we were friends” (Alana Springsteen, Sasha Alex Sloan, Pete Good)#

For Springsteen, the unfiltered self-expression of “twenty something” sets the tone for her entire debut album – a landmark project whose three installments each capture a distinct phase of twenty-something life. Released last month, Messing It Up proved to be a wildly compelling first chapter to the LP. To that end, Messing It Up delivered such irresistibly eclectic tracks as “you don’t deserve a country song” (hailed by Billboard as having “all the bite”), “shoulder to cry on” (with Holler claiming that it “perfectly exhibits Springsteen’s ability to craft artful twists into her vulnerable songwriting”), and “goodbye looks good on you (feat. Mitchell Tenpenny)” (American Songwriter’s “Pick of the Day” and spotted across high-profile roundups for E! NewsCMT, and more).

With her latest triumphs including making her highly anticipated return to the Grand Ole Opry last month, Springsteen continues her run as the special guest on Adam Doleac’s ‘BARSTOOL WHISKEY WONDERLAND’ TOUR, and is gearing up to support Luke Bryan’s COUNTRY ON TOUR 2023 this summer. Marking her first headline show in Nashville, TN, with a roaring SOLD OUT crowd, Sony Music Nashville/Columbia Records’ rising star Megan Moroney brought her PISTOL MADE OF ROSES TOUR to the legendary Exit/In last Wednesday (4/19).

Kicking off the set with fan-favorite, “Til It All Goes South,” the pretty-in-pink powerhouse commanded the stage as she previewed new songs off her forthcoming Kristian Bush-produced debut album, LUCKY (out May 5), added her own spin to covers like Miranda Lambert’s “Gunpowder and Lead,” and led fans in a booming sing-along to her Top 15-and-climbing smash “Tennessee Orange.”

One of the highlights came in the middle of the set when Moroney played three songs acoustic with just her guitar – “Why Johnny,” “Fix You Too,” and “Girl In The Mirror” – showcasing what’s been praised by Billboard as “a little rasp to her voice and a heart-on-her-sleeve style.”

The “musical risktaker with powerhouse pipes” (CMT) closed out the night by returning to the stage for a high-energy encore with “Lucky.”

Her breakout year continues as she will vie for NEW FEMALE ARTIST OF THE YEAR at the 58th Academy of Country Music Awards. Fans can tune in on May 11 at 8 p.m. EDT/7 p.m. CDT/5 p.m. PDT as it streams live exclusively on Prime Video from Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, TX. This nomination comes hot on the heels of her first career win for BREAKTHROUGH FEMALE VIDEO OF THE YEAR for her Jason Lester-directed “Tennessee Orange” clip (view here) at the 2023 CMT MUSIC AWARDS.

Following her SOLD OUT PISTOL MADE OF ROSES TOUR, Moroney’s follow-up trek, THE LUCKY TOUR, will launch in the fall. With many of the venues selling out within minutes, the 22-city tour kicks off with her New York City debut at The Bowery Ballroom on September 20, before taking her to major cities and iconic venues coast-to-coast including first-time stops as an in-demand headliner in Chicago (Joe’s on Weed St.), Los Angeles (Troubadour), New Braunfels, TX (Gruene Hall), and more, through November. ABOUT MEGAN MORONEY:

Born and raised in Georgia, Megan Moroney grew up in a musical household heavily influenced by legendary songwriters in Classic Country, Southern Rock, and Americana. During her freshman year at the University of Georgia, an opportunity to open for an established Country artist at the iconic Georgia Theatre prompted Moroney to write her very first original song. From there, she developed a love for storytelling and has become known for her distinctive voice and honest, conversational lyrics. 2022 brought the singer a breakout year with the release of her debut EP, Pistol Made of Roses, followed by her single “Tennessee Orange,” which put her on the map as Nashville’s most compelling new artist. The colossal buzz surrounding the track prompted her to perform it on ESPN’s College GameDay, while racking up over 189 MILLION global streams, with 255 MILLION total artist global streams to date. The viral hit was awarded this year for BREAKTHROUGH FEMALE VIDEO OF THE YEAR (“Tennessee Orange”), notching Moroney’s first CMT Music Award. The Top 15-and-climbing single is on her forthcoming debut album LUCKY, out May 5. After opening stints on tours with Larry Fleet, Chase Matthews, Jamey Johnson, and Warren Zeiders last year, she is kicking off her first headline run with the SOLD-OUT PISTOL MADE OF ROSES TOUR this spring and continuing with THE LUCKY TOUR in the fall. In between, fans can catch her out with Brooks & Dunn this summer. Dubbed a “2023 Artist to Watch” by Amazon Music, Pandora, and Spotify, an iHeart “On The Verge” Artist, as well as one of CMT’s Next Women of Country for 2023, the “musical risk taker with powerhouse pipes” (CMT) is slated to become a household name in the years to come.

Adam has garnered over 360 million total global on-demand streams to date, and last fall, he released Barstool Whiskey Wonderland to much fanfare nearly a decade after moving to Music City. He co-wrote every song on the album aside from his collaboration with Danielle Bradbery, “Fake Love,” which was penned by an all-star lineup made up of HARDY, Ryan Hurd, Maren Morris and Jordan Schmidt. One of his biggest hits off the album, “Famous” is Gold-certified and opens this latest acoustic EP. Barstool Whiskey Wonderland (Wonderland Sides) is a nod to all his fans who continuously requested that his songs be stripped down and made as acoustic versions – they spoke, he listened. This is just the beginning for Adam, as he has additional fresh new music he plans to roll out over the next few months.

About Adam Doleac:

Raised in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Arista Nashville/Sony Music Nashville rising star Adam Doleac credits devoted parents for his strong work ethic, and his dream-chasing determination. After earning a baseball scholarship to the University of Southern Mississippi, he ended up playing in front of 30,000 at the College World Series – fueling a craving for big crowds he still chases today. Doleac fell in love with music during college, writing songs with teammates and challenging himself to play hometown shows while devouring the work of emotional explorers like John Mayer, Gavin DeGraw, Amos Lee and more. He acquired a publishing deal after posting an original song to YouTube that went viral, and then finally decided to make the move to Nashville. He spent the following years sharpening his penmanship, and eventually Kane Brown, Gabby Barrett, Darius Rucker and more had all cut his songs, while Doleac built a grassroots fanbase touring the country in his pickup truck. Proving the old adage of Nashville being a 10-year town, Doleac delivered his 18-track debut album Barstool Whiskey Wonderland on September 30, nearly a decade after relocating to Music City, and is about to conclude his first-ever, sold-out headlining tour, the “Barstool Whiskey Wonderland Tour.” With tracks like the Gold-certified “Famous” and soul-mate anthem “Another,” both of which hit No. 1 on SiriusXM’s The Highway, fans have gotten only a glimpse of that wonderland so far. Now they get the full picture.
