DYLAN MARLOWE TEAMS UP WITH DYLAN SCOTT ON NEW TRACK, “BOYS BACK HOME,” OUT NOW

ANNOUNCES HEADLINE DIRT ROAD WHEN I DIE TOUR FOR 2024

MARLOWE SET TO OPEN FOR HARDY TONIGHT IN NASHVILLE AS PART OF THREE NIGHT RUN IN MUSIC CITY

Rising singer-songwriter Dylan Marlowe debuted his latest track today, “Boys Back Home.” Marlowe enlisted his friend and former tourmate, Dylan Scott, to join him on the track. Listen here.

“I wrote ‘Boys Back Home’ with Joe Fox and Seth Ennis because I got homesick when I moved to Nashville and missed all of my friends back home,” Marlowe said. “Dylan Scott took me on my first tour and I ended up showing him the song on the road. He loved it and I ended up asking him to sing on it with me. A year and a half in the making and I’m excited for the fans to finally have it!”

Last week, Marlowe announced his headlining DIRT ROAD WHEN I DIE TOUR for 2024. The tour will kick off in Mobile, AL on February 1. Marlowe has only announced dates for the first two weekends of the tour so far, with plans to surprise fans with the additional cities he’ll be stopping by later on.

The songsmith is currently touring alongside HARDY on his the mockingbird and THE CROW FALL TOUR with Lainey Wilson. Marlowe will open for HARDY tonight at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium as part of their three-night run in Music City, which began last night. He has also recently toured with Jordan Davis and Scotty McCreery and will open a show for Morgan Wallen this fall.

Named one of Spotify’s 2023 Hot Country Artists to Watch, Marlowe shared his debut EP Dirt Road When I Die this summer. Billboard noted that the project “ranges from banjo-flecked country to headbanger tones with tight, edgy harmonies certifying his country roots.” Dirt Road When I Die features the soaring title track plus “You Were Right (Nat’s Song),” which Marlowe released as a surprise for his now-wife on their wedding day in May. Country Now lauded his “raw, consoling vocals” on the song, noting that the “elegant piano melody takes the ballad to new heights.” Another buzzworthy song on the project,“Record High,” was praised by MusicRow as “Moody and haunting. The soundscape ripples with dobro, muted percussion and chimed electronics. His broken-hearted delivery aches with sincerity. Excellent work.”

In addition to releasing his debut EP, the year of firsts continued with Marlowe making his Grand Ole Opry debut this summer. For more updates on Marlowe, visit DylanMarloweMusic.com.

About Dylan Marlowe

Statesboro, Georgia native Dylan Marlowe is Nashville’s newest rising star on the country music scene, where he comes likely wearing camouflage and an audible smile, equipped with a sound that blends traditional country themes with a touch of rock. Dylan found his way to Nashville just before the start of the pandemic but made lemonade from lemons, filling his days with songwriting, networking, and finetuning his craft. After Dylan shared a performance of his countrified rewrite of the Olivia Rodrigo hit “Driver’s License” to social media, people really started paying attention. The clip immediately quadrupled his TikTok following and has racked up over a million views on YouTube to date. The enthusiasm surrounding the track prompted him to release it to streaming services, followed by his own infectious tunes like “All About It” and “I’ll Keep The Country.” Meanwhile, the hustler was lending his penmanship to other artists as well, earning him his first No. 1 as a songwriter for Jon Pardi’s “Last Night Lonely.”

The Spotify Hot Country Artist to Watch for 2023 burst into the year with “arguably his best work yet” (Outsider), “Record High.” MusicRow deemed the explosive new track “Moody and haunting…His broken-hearted delivery aches with sincerity. Excellent work.” The track was part of his debut EP, Dirt Road When I Die, which he released this summer.Dylan appear on select tour dates with Jordan Davis and Scotty McCreery this past summer and is currently on the road with HARDY on his “the mockingbird and THE CROW” tour this fall, along with Lainey Wilson. Drawing from influences like Kenny Chesney, Eric Church and Cody Johnson, Dylan is carving out his own creative niche that he’s filling with music that fans will readily identify with the name Dylan Marlowe.

BMI’S CHRIS YOUNG AND MITCHELL TENPENNY CELEBRATE GOLD-CERTIFIED,CHART-TOPPING COLLABORATION,“AT THE END OF A BAR”

Multi-platinum, global entertainer Chris Young (RCA Nashville/Sony Music Nashville) and platinum selling artist Mitchell Tenpenny (Riser House/Columbia Nashville/Sony Music Nashville) spent yesterday with industry friends and family celebrating their “booming duet” (Tennessean), the 2022 chart-topping single, “At The End Of A Bar.” Hosted by BMI and ASCAP, the pair were also surprised with a plaque commemorating its R.I.A.A. Gold certification. Sponsored by Studio Bank, the evening highlights included a donation presentation made by Ron Cox on behalf of Young, Tenpenny and the songwriters in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a pediatric hospital located in Memphis, Tennessee, that supports research initiatives and provides healthcare support for children in need.

“At The End Of A Bar” hit No. 1 on both the Billboard Country Airplay and Country Aircheck/Mediabase charts the week of August 22, 2022 and is found on Young’s Famous Friends (Deluxe Edition). The song marks Young’s 13th career No.1 single as an artist and his 11th No. 1 as a songwriter and is included among Tenpenny’s three No. 1 singles as an artist and songwriter. Young (BMI), Tenpenny (BMI) and Chris DeStefano (ASCAP) wrote “At The End Of A Bar” in February 2021 during a Nashville snowstorm when most of the city was shut down and the three returned to Loser’s Nashville, the location that inspired their writing session, for yesterday’s winning celebration.

Young’s recently released “Young Love & Saturday Nights” is rising on the country radio airplay and streaming charts and will be found on his new album expected in 2024. Tenpenny’s “We Got History” single is inside the Top 20 and climbing.

NATE SMITH ANNOUNCES HEADLINING WORLD ON FIRE TOUR 2024

KICKS OFF THE 21-CITY TOUR AT THE TOP OF NEXT YEAR

“WORLD ON FIRE” REACHES TOP 20 AT COUNTRY RADIO

Breakout country star Nate Smith is set to bring his fiery vocals to 21 cities at the top of next year with his WORLD ON FIRE TOUR 2024. Rising singer-songwriter Dylan Schneider will join Smith on his cross-country trek for the first 20 dates, and Aidan Canfield will open the final show of the tour. Tickets for most shows go on sale Friday, Oct. 20 at 10am local time. Smith’s fan club presale will begin Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 10am local time. Fans can also purchase VIP Packages, which may include premium tickets, Meet & Greet and photo opportunities with Smith, autographed posters and more. Visit NateSmithOfficial.com for tickets and additional info.

Smith spent the summer touring with Thomas Rhett and will hit the road this fall with Cole Swindell. Following his headline tour next year, Smith will join Morgan Wallen for his ONE NIGHT AT A TIME 2024 tour. He will open for Wallen in stadiums across the country, including stops in Arlington (TX), Charlotte, Denver, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Nashville, Oxford (MS) and Tampa. Smith will also return to Stagecoach next year after his debut appearance at the festival this year.

Following his Platinum-certified, multi-week No. 1 hit “Whiskey On You,” Smith’s current single “World On Fire” has reached Top 20 at country radio. With over 80 million global streams to date, the breakup hit is one of 26 tracks on Smith’s self-titled album / deluxe version released on April 28. Upon its release, the project achieved the largest album debut from a new artist this year (2023), as well as the largest full length album debut from a new artist since 2020. The album hit #6 on Billboard’s Country albums chart and #30 overall on the Billboard Top 200. Nate Smith also includes RIAA Gold-certified hits “Wreckage” and “Under My Skin.”

Press raved about the album, with The Tennessean sharing that it “lends itself well to country’s radio-ready expectations, but also is so well-delivered that it explodes them, too… Smith’s vocal is a flexible instrument that is so genuinely powerful that, aided by intentional musicianship, it achieves songs that feel familiar in a heart-warming and instantly connective manner.” Billboard lauded his “formidable, rangy and raw vocal power” while Holler noted that his range bears “resemblance to country legend Vince Gill, whose vocal control could cause fainting spells three states over,” adding that “this is Smith’s superpower.”

Smith, who is known for his “strong voice that grips a lyric with ferocity” (Billboard), was nominated for NEW MALE ARTIST OF THE YEAR at the 58th ACM Awards in addition to his 2023 CMT Awards nomination for BREAKTHROUGH MALE VIDEO OF THE YEAR for his smash single “Whiskey On You.”

About Nate Smith:

Featuring a mix of gritty backwoods soul, rock ‘n’ roll swagger and velvet-thunder vocals, Nate Smith’s personal journey inspired him to be a beacon of country-music hope, an inspirational mission he puts front-and-center. A California native, former worship leader, and lifelong music lover, Smith approaches that mission with a background as eclectic as it gets. Learning guitar at 13, Garth Brooks, Elvis Presley and Bob Seger were among those informing his powerful, fire-from-within vocals, while Michael Jackson made him crave the spotlight and Nirvana gave his sound a jagged edge. In 2018, Smith lost everything he owned in the devastating Camp Fire which tore through Paradise, California, now known as the deadliest and most destructive wildfire in the state’s history. Although his family was safe, he struggled to cope and turned back to music, hoping that it would help comfort himself and others. Help it did, inspiring a month-long road trip across the U.S. to Music City, writing music and playing dive bars along the way.

Since making it to Nashville, the singer’s “powerhouse tenor” has become “perhaps country music’s fastest-rising beloved voice” (The Tennessean). He’s made a huge splash with songs such as his Platinum-certified multi-week No. 1 hit “Whiskey On You,” which was lauded as the “breakup song of the summer” by Country Now and “an enormously satisfying country kiss-off anthem” by Stereogum. “Whiskey On You” amassed over 7.5 million total global on-demand streams in its first week, reaching No. 10 on the Country On-Demand Streaming Chart. The smash hit has racked up over 380 million total global on-demand streams to date. Nate released his debut, self-titled album along with the deluxe version on April 28. The hefty 26-song project hit #6 on Billboard’s Country album charts and #30 on the Billboard Top 200. His latest single off the album, “World On Fire,” is impacting country radio now. The CMT Awards and ACM Awards nominee is currently on tour with Thomas Rhett and will hit the road with Cole Swindell this fall. Nate is managed by Kevin “Chief” Zaruk and Simon Tikhman with The Core Entertainment.

About Dylan Schneider:

Drawn to the storytelling aspects of country music, Dylan Schneider started performing and writing songs at the age of 14, after meeting Brett Eldredge and singing with him on-stage during a concert. After that, he began posting videos to his Facebook page, where he’d cover popular Country songs, gaining a devoted online following. Since then, Schneider has made a name for himself in the Country music community, forging a sound that merges modern pop sensibilities with a down-home feel. He’s been named a “Breakthrough Artist to Watch” by Amazon Music, an “Artist to Watch” by Pandora, Taste of Country and Sounds Like Nashville and declared “Country Music’s Next Rising Star” by Billboard. He’s toured with Florida Georgia Line, Kane Brown, Morgan Wallen, Dan + Shay, Granger Smith, LANCO, Mitchell Tenpenny, Chris Lane and Niko Moon, co-wrote Dustin Lynch’s Top 5 hit song “Momma’s House,” scored two RIAA-certified Gold records, accumulated over 1M social media followers and banked an upwards of 250M on-demand streams (and counting). Signed to BBR Music Group/Wheelhouse Records, his latest five-track EP College Town truly embraced his irresistible rock-n-roll edge and unrestrained pop-country swagger. Now, after posting a snippet of his new break-up anthem “Ain’t Missin’ You” on social media, the sound went viral, racking up more than 115M TikTok views, 112k user-generated TikTok videos and 26M on-demand streams, before climbing to #3 on TikTok’s Country playlist and securing placement on viral-song charts. Giving into fan demand, the rising country star’s “Ain’t Missin’ You” is out now and currently climbing the country radio charts

ABOUT MEGAN MORONEY:
Country newcomer with massive staying power, Megan Moroney is strong-minded, sensitive, and fiercely devoted to speaking her truth. As a teenager in Georgia, she first honed her gorgeously gritty vocal style by singing covers with her dad and brother, then took up guitar at age 16. Although she started off studying accounting at the University of Georgia, Moroney’s entire trajectory changed after opening for Chase Rice at the famed Georgia Theatre her freshman year — a turn of events that found her penning her first-ever original song and discovering the dazzling specificity and down-to-earth honesty that now define her music. In July 2022 she offered a first glimpse at the full-force personality of her songwriting with the Pistol Made of Roses EP, inspiring CMT to praise her as a “musical risk taker with powerhouse pipes.” As her career gained unstoppable momentum, she next delivered her breakout single “Tennessee Orange”: an immediate smash that soon led to her signing with Sony Music Nashville/Columbia Records, in addition to notching her first No. 1 at Country radio and earning RIAA PLATINUM certification. Named a “2023 Artist to Watch” by the likes of Amazon Music, Pandora, and Spotify, as well as an iHeart “On The Verge” Artist and one of CMT’s Next Women of Country for 2023, Moroney released her debut album LUCKY in May and quickly drew major acclaim for the lived-in intimacy, fearless truth-telling, electrifying impact of her songwriting. With her avalanche of accolades including winning BREAKTHROUGH FEMALE VIDEO OF THE YEAR at the CMT Music Awards, she made her debut appearance on NBC’s TODAY and kicked off her first headline run with the sold-out PISTOL MADE OF ROSES TOUR. After opening for Country legends Brooks & Dunn this summer, Moroney has embarked on her sold-out THE LUCKY TOUR for this fall bringing her magnetic live show to iconic venues across the U.S. — all while continuing a meteoric rise that now includes nearly 600 MILLION total global streams to date.

Old Dominion’s Memory Lane Is Here

18 Songs, Many Moods, Moments + Truths About Good Vibes

With Their EP Yielding Their NINTH No. 1 with “Memory Lane,”

“Can’t Break Up Now” with Megan Moroney Was No. 1 Most Added

LISTEN HERE

Waist deep in their No Bad Vibes 2023 arena tour, Old Dominion finally delivers their 18-song Memory Lane, the eagerly awaited expansion of their January sampler and early summer EP of the same name, today (October 6). Listen HERE.

Beyond already having their ninth No. 1 as the title track, the critically acclaimed band’s smoldering duet with double Country Music Association (CMA) Awards nominee Megan Moroney officially arrived at country radio as No. 1 Most Added upon impact on 9/18.

And that’s only the tip of the music for the five-time and current Country Music Association and six-time and reigning Academy of Country Music Group of the Year. For their fifth full project, lead singer and guitarist Matthew Ramsey, lead guitarist/vocalist Brad Tursi, keyboardist/guitarist/accordion man Trevor Rosen and the adventurously multi-rhythmic section of bassist Geoff Sprung and drummer Whit Sellers wanted to braid all the things that have defined the band of songwriters together.

As Ramsey explains on the brink of releasing the full project, “There is the self-awareness that we are the ear-worm farmers. We do know we have this ability to just throw in everything that can catch your ear without it sounding too cloudy or chaotic. We’ve really refined that, but that – if we’re paying attention – allows us to go off in directions we want to explore, because the hook will bring you with us.”

Whether the lean, then surging “Freedom Like You,” banjo-flecked, multi-rhythmic  “A Million Things,” innocently retro melody on the lonesome “Both Sides of the Bed,” good time stop/start “Ain’t Got A Worry” featuring Blake Shelton, slinky soul-country of wanting to be the thing that’s “Different About You” or hushed harmony-forward “Beautiful Sky,” Old Dominion sought to push the envelope of where those ear worms could live, breathe and create a gleaming kind of country that empowers even on the bad day.

That joy of living even in complicated times sets the 13-times Platinum band apart. Beyond going deeper, making more reflective songs shine, it’s also about their willingness to make it about the rhythms and the playing. Looking to “Different About You,” Tursi explains, “It’s sort of a nod to the Chili Peppers, but really a nod to Hendrix. That was the most transformed from demo to final recording. It’s really fun to play those double stop parts. Those voicings are built for guitar, and the song became way more aggressive. I always like when we get to go back to being the rock band we were, and always will be.”

“Some songs evolve, changing incrementally,” adds Rosen. “Our sound’s the result of five individuals listening to each other and playing what comes naturally — like a flock of birds. With each song, we have our own mental concept of what the song is at its essence, but obviously with a shared vision. Whatever comes through us, through our instruments, that’s the fusion of our musical DNA.”

Whether the slinky “Hot Again,” the tumbling “Easy To Miss” or the reggae-undertowed “Sleep Without Drinking,” Memory Lane takes Old Dominion’s feel-good country and ups the ante. More adventurous, more coherent, more, well, fun even as it measures the rough patches and disappointments. For the friends who became a band, it’s arriving at a place where Old Dominion is a sound and a state of mind.

“There’s self-awareness musically, and there’s self-awareness as a human,” Ramsey explains. “We didn’t have that much ego (between us) in the first place. It’s disappeared with where we are and acknowledging of our abilities. The joy of creating something and putting it out, seeing how people receive it: there’s a real freedom in that.”

Freedom and awesome. With a string of sold-out arenas behind them – and going forward – the celebration of the full-on Memory Lane could stretch well into 2024. As “Love Drunk and Happy” heaven-bound declaration proclaims, “Lets raise a toast to the wild hearts making the most/ of every single minute ‘til they give up the ghost/ What a way to live, what a way to go…”

KANE BROWN TEAMS UP WITH ASL ARTISTS & D-PAN TO CREATE ONE-OF-A-KIND AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE VIDEOS FOR BROWN’S TOP HITS

Watch The Videos Here

Multi-platinum, 5X AMA award-winning entertainer and current CMA Award nominee Kane Brown joins forces with American Sign Language Artists and D-Pan (Deaf Professional Arts Network) to create ASL videos for some of Brown’s greatest hits. Brown and Amber G Productions partnered with D-PAN (a nonprofit ran by Deaf and hard of hearing people) to edit and caption the videos.

Videos in the ASL series include, current CMA nominated and 2X platinum “Thank God,” 9X platinum, “Heaven,” 7X platinum, “What Ifs,” 3X Platinum “Be Like That,” 2X platinum, “One Thring Right,” 2X platinum, “Good As You,” 2X platinum, “Homesick,” 2X platinum, “Lose It, 1X platinum, ”Memory” and Brown’s latest single, “I Can Feel It”. Watch them all here.

“I want my music to be inclusive of everyone,” says Brown.  “If the Deaf and hard of hearing community embrace and connect with my music through these videos, it would mean the world to me.”

Amber G comments, “We’ve partnered with a few artists (Metallica, Tove Lo), so we were excited to bring Kane into our Deaf ecosystem (a term coined by Kelly Brick). That term means pushing for economic empowerment of Deaf people. It is my hope that other artists see how to follow in the footsteps of Kane Brown, Metallica, and Tove Lo to ensure their content is inclusive and accessible. Music is more than lyrics. Captions fail to adequately show the emotional connection with artists. Let our hands be music to your eyes.”

Sean Forbes, Co-Founder of D-PAN states, “As a non-profit organization that has been producing sign language video access to music since 2006, it is a pleasure to work with Amber G Productions to help make Kane Brown’s music accessible to the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. As a deaf-led organization, with a sign language-centric production team, it was fun to not only work on this but to be introduced to Kane Brown’s music too. We are fans.”

ABOUT KANE BROWN

His album Experiment (2018) hit #1 on the Billboard Top 200 all genre list-becoming the first country artist in more than 24 years to top the chart with a sophomore album. Brown released his multi-song project Mixtape Vol. 1– which earned Brown an ACM Award nomination for Album of the Year (2021) and an ACM win for “Video of the Year.”

Named to Time’s 100 most influential people in the world (2021), Brown has ascended from independently built social media notability to an ACM Entertainer of the Year nominee (2023) and has become one of country music’s most accomplished mainstays and global entertainers.
