| Sony Music Nashville announced the signing of exciting newcomer Karley Scott Collins today. Her debut track, “Heavenly,” is set to be released February 4. “I am so thrilled and excited to join the Sony Music Nashville Family,” Karley said. “From the second I met Randy and the entire team at Sony, they’ve supported me and my vision for my songs wholeheartedly. I couldn’t be more grateful for this new adventure with them or ask for a better team.” The singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, who is also signed to Warner Chappell Music, moved from her hometown of Lake City, Florida to Nashville three years ago, armed with words and melodies she’s been collecting and writing for nearly a decade. A multifaceted artist (she even painted the background of her “Heavenly” cover art), Karley grew up listening to metal bands such as Guns N’ Roses and Alice in Chains with her dad on her way to elementary school, idolizing Bob Dylan, and absorbing herself in novels by the likes of Cormac McCarthy. Karley’s artistic depth is tempered with youthful wonder and her rich, power-house voice.
