Riser House/Columbia Nashville artist and Nashville native Mitchell Tenpenny will headline his first concert at the Ryman Auditorium this fall. The concert is set for Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020 with concert proceeds going to the 10Penny Fund in partnership with Sarah Cannon. Mitchell’s Night Owl fan club members will have access to pre-sale tickets beginning at 10am local time Tuesday, March 10. The public on sale is set for this Friday, March 13 at 10am local time. Special “Ultimate 10Penny Fund VIP Experience packages” are also available. Go to for more details.

“I grew up in Nashville attending concerts in most of the city’s many venues, but the dream to have the opportunity to headline the Ryman Auditorium seems too surreal,” shared Mitchell. “We have many special plans for this show and I’m grateful in advance to all my fans who will join us in supporting a wonderful cause that unfortunately all too many families understand.”

Mitchell created the 10Penny Fund in 2018 to provide inspiration and to support programs that help build community, motivate patients and encourage healing for people facing cancer and their loved ones. Mitchell’s outreach grew from his own personal experiences dealing with his father’s cancer and what his family learned through the process. In 2019, he teamed up with Sarah Cannon, the Cancer Institute of HCA Healthcare, to renovate the ‘Family Room’ at the American Cancer Society Memorial Foundation Hope Lodge in downtown Nashville.
